Financial
Education
Financial
Education is about empowering people to effectively manage their
money so as to protect themselves and improve their lives. It gives
them skills and tools to make the most of opportunities to earn,
spend, budget, save and borrow. This is crucial to families who need
to survive on a low income, and is also especially important for
microenterpreneurs and microcredit clients. Improved financial management
is beneficial to both borrowers and microfinance institutions. Myriam
supports NGOs and microfinance institutions in creating and implementing
financial education programs. She runs workshops to give master trainers
the skills and knowledge to run effective learning sessions for their
clients.

of local projects. All sessions are highly participatory and action focused,
incorporating the most effective principles and practices of adult learning.
